his jail cell former penn state assistant football coach made a surprise plea pro claiming his innocence. in just a few hours, sandusky will be sentenced for abusing ten boys over a 15-year period. sandusky as well as some of the victims are expected to speak at that hearing. danielle lee joins us from the centre county courthouse with more on what we can expect. >> reporter: good morning. you may be able to see just over my right shoulder people are already lining up outside of this courthouse waiting for this hearing that is set to begin in a couple hours. it will likely be the second time in less than 24 hours that we heard from jerry sandusky after he was largely silent during the entire trial. you may remember that jerry sandusky did not testify. one of the only times we heard from him prior to his conviction was during that infamous nbc interview that didn't go well. so this last-minute statement out of his jail cell is very unheard of and in very many ways many telling. equally telling what he didn't y. he offered no apologies, only maintained his innocence. >> we will c
